I am a reiki master practititioner certified in Usui reiki, Violet flame/light reiki, kundalini reiki, EFT, and yoga (RYT-200). After a traumatic accident, I was left with extreme physical pain, chronic migraines, insomnia, and anxiety/PTSD. Traditional allopathic medicine was costly and time-consuming and could only do so much, leaving me feeling very hopeless.
From a young age, I really enjoyed natural/herbal remedies and eastern medicine so I started looking into alternative healing and learned about EFT (emotional freedom technique), which works by tapping the meridian points of the body. This was able to offer a lot of relief that I was missing before. As time went on, with increased stress from life and an unhappy work situation, a lot of the physical pain, headache, and anxiety returned.
I was introduced to reiki during the pandemic when I attended virtual soundbaths integrated with breathwork, emotion code clearing, and reiki. This sparked my interest in energy healing and reiki so I enrolled in a reiki level 1 course to learn more. During my reiki self-treatments, I noticed that I was able to fall asleep right away and the headaches were less frequent. When I saw the drastic improvements that reiki made in my daily life, I decided to continue my reiki training and dove nosefirst into all things reiki (manuals/books/videos).
I initially learned reiki to help myself heal, but then I started practicing on my cat and after seeing the benefits it had on him, my curiosity grew to see if I could help other people. I was able to increase my quality life through reiki but I never imagined that I would be able to do the same for others. I honestly feel a great sense of honor each time I am able to share reiki to make a meaningful difference in another person's daily life by lessening their pain and stress.
